Responsible for the development and implementation of policies, plans and programs for the orderly restoration and development of the Historic and cultural district of Intramuros, the old capital of the City of Manila, that includes a UNESCO declared world heritage site as a tourism destination.
Advocated for the policy framework for development of an “Inclusive, Resilient and Dynamic” Intramuros consistent with UNESCO’s Urban Heritage Guidelines with a disaster risk management component.
Responsible for all aspects of leadership in operational planning, financial planning and management, community relations and advocacy, site and marketing management.
Appointed by the President of the Republic of the Philippines and reporting directly to the Secretary of Tourism.
